On Election Day, the nation's focus will be on New Jersey because it is one of only two states (Virginia is the other) holding a gubernatorial election. Also, all 80 members of the New Jersey General Assembly are up for election in 2009. It is very important for the citizens of our state to be engaged in the issues being discussed and, most importantly, to vote on Nov. 3rd. A democracy only functions properly when our citizens go out and vote.
