The Walk to Washington & Congressional Reception
February 4 & 5, 2027
Omni Shoreham Hotel, Washington, DC

It’s back — and so are the program changes. The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Walk to Washington & Congressional Reception returns Feb. 4 & 5, 2027, building on the tremendous success and overwhelmingly positive feedback from the event’s 2025 comeback after a five-year hiatus. Attendees praised the refreshed format in 2025, which replaced the traditionally long dinner and lengthy speeches with a more energetic reception focused on networking, conversation and connection. Because of that enthusiastic response, those enhancements are returning in 2027.

This unique and unparalleled experience brings together 1,000 New Jersey leaders traveling to Washington, D.C., aboard a chartered Amtrak train with stops in Newark, Metropark, New Brunswick, Trenton, Philadelphia and Wilmington, Del. Once in the nation’s capital, the networking continues at the historic and luxurious Omni Shoreham Hotel. In the hotel’s grand ballroom, guests will experience a lively dinner-and-cocktail reception honoring New Jersey’s Congressional delegation. Attendees will enjoy outstanding food, drinks and desserts while making valuable business and government connections in a relaxed, high-energy atmosphere.
